Real-time hydrometric telemetry from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) / Water Survey of Canada (WSC) is provisional and subject to continuous sensor calibration, telemetry delays, and environmental disturbances such as ice jams, seasonal freshet debris, and sudden upstream precipitation.

Never rely solely on automated online streamflow scores to make life-critical water safety decisions. Always visually scout river conditions and rapids before launching, adhere to provincial and territorial park directives, and carry mandatory safety equipment including a Transport Canada-approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD) or lifejacket in compliance with the Canadian Small Vessel Regulations.
